The tannins are firm and the wine is elegant and rich. This is still a beautiful classic St. Julien wine.

James Suckling 91pts

This wine displays aromas of blackberries, sweet tobacco, and green coffee. The wine is full-bodied, with soft tannins and a soft texture. The vintage has a lovely texture. Best since 2014.

Robert Parker 89pts

This fruity, soft, medium-bodied wine features sweet black cherry and gooseberry fruits mixed with subtle notes of vanilla, spice box and smoke. Although a round, aromatic, soft wine.

The smooth mouthfeel and silky tannins make it drinkable after long aging. Over time they develop a delicate, complex aroma with hints of cedar and Habanero tobacco.
