Description

This is a red wine from California, USA, produced in the famous Napa Valley winery - Opus One Winery. Co-founded by Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi, Opus 1 produces wines that not only inherit the sophistication and elegance of French Bordeaux, but also express the American The outstanding terroir of Napa Valley is loved and praised by wine lovers around the world for its outstanding performance. The 2018 vintage is a deep purplish red with aromas of cassis and blueberry accompanied by notes of pencil, violet, wet earth and chocolate. It is medium to full bodied with firm and grainy tannins. On the palate it is fine and concentrated, with fruity and mineral notes lingering on the finish. This wine is as elegant and pure as Pomerol, with great ageing potential.
