Description

Château Lafite:

The second wine of Château Lafite Rothschild du Hamillon. The screening criteria are basically the same as the original wine. The fruit that makes this wine usually comes from vines that are below average age." Lafite "Rothschild Douha Mill" has a similar taste to the original brand, but has a slightly lower ageing ability due to the slightly shorter oak barrel aging period. Therefore, this wine is suitable for a younger drinking age. The name of the wine is derived from an old mill near the vineyards of Duhamelon.

WINE GRAPES: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon

TASTING NOTES:

Beautiful deep, dark colour.

Still reserved, the nose reveals superb roasted notes. These are followed by aromas of ripe red fruit, particularly fresh cherries.

On the palate, the notes remain delicate. The wine gradually develops body while remaining very wellbalanced.
