Description

The form of farming that has been chosen for the cultivation of this wine is Veronese pergola. This choice was made to allow the grapes to have a greater exposure to the sun. The grapes are harvested in the first ten days of October and dried in boxes in the fruttaio. The creation of this fantastic wine begins with soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation in steel with daily punching down. Once the alcoholic fermentation is completed at the end of winter, the skins of the Amarone are introduced, giving rise to a second fermentation. Once the latter and the subsequent malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine is transferred to wood for at least 20 months in large 30 hl barrels and then left to refine in the bottle for 5/6 months before being put on sale.

TASTING NOTES:

- Color: It has a deep ruby red colour

- Aroma: The nose is intense with aromas of cherries in alcohol, plums, small red berries, licorice, tobacco, hints of violet and spices such as black pepper and cinnamon

- Taste: In the mouth it is dry, savoury, full-bodied and pleasantly harmonious, return of nasal aromas, excellent retro-olfactory persistence
