Description

The 2017 Pastourelle de Clerc Milon comes from the 5th Growth estate in Pauillac, crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, partially aged in French oak barrels. Deep ruby colour with aromas of blackcurrant, red berry, violet and vanilla oak. Smooth and medium-bodied on the palate, tannins are fine and well integrated, with balanced fruit and oak notes and a subtle smoky finish. Serve at 16–18 °C; enjoy now or cellar for 5–8 years. Pairs nicely with grilled beef, lamb or aged cheese.
