With healthy vines, low crop yield, minimal irrigation, and high ripeness levels, the wine is rich and round on the palate. Its tannins are textural yet non-bitter, with subtle French oak influence that doesn't overwhelm. The acidity provides balance without being tart, allowing the wine's delicious essence to shine through effortlessly. This vintage is a true expression of the renowned Caymus style.

This special anniversary vintage celebrates 50 years of making Cabernet in Napa Valley. It results from happy soils, healthy vines, low crop yield, low to no irrigation, and harvest at high ripeness levels – all key ingredients of the Caymus style. The wine is rich and round on the palate, with textural tannins that are non-bitter. Evidence of French oak, but not overplayed. Acidity for balance, but not tart. The Caymus style allows the consumer to face no hurdles in tasting and enjoying the delicious essence of the wine.
