Description

The 2019 Chevalier de Lascombes is the second label from the Grand Cru Classé estate in Margaux. Composed of around 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. Deep ruby in colour, it reveals aromas of black fruits, violet, vanilla and subtle cedar. The palate is rounded and silky with fine tannins and balanced acidity. Fruit and oak interplay seamlessly for a long, refined finish. Serve at 16-18 °C; ideal with lamb, steak, beef stew or aged cheese.
