The 2016 Chevalier de Lascombes is the second wine of Château Lascombes, a Grand Cru Classé estate in Margaux. The blend is mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Petit Verdot. Deep ruby colour with blackcurrant, blackberry, licorice, vanilla and cedar notes. Medium-plus body with firm but polished tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long and refined, showing Margaux’s signature floral elegance. Serve at 16-18 °C with grilled steak, lamb or truffle pasta.
