The 2018 Duluc de Branaire-Ducru is the second label from the 4ème Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Julien. The blend is about 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot with small portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Deep ruby-red colour with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, violet, cedar and spice. The palate is round and smooth with firm yet polished tannins, balanced acidity and fine texture. Long finish with hints of fruit and toasted oak. Serve 16–18 °C; enjoy now or cellar 5-10 years, excellent with grilled red meats, lamb or aged cheese.
