Connetable de Talbot is the second label of Château Talbot (a fourth growth of Château Saint-Julien in 1855), created in the 1960s. It is one of the earliest second labels in the Médoc, aiming to present the elegance and balance of Talbot in a more approachable style. The 2023 vintage exhibits typical Left Bank style: vibrant red and black fruit aromas, cedar wood notes, fine tannins, and a harmonious structure. The grapes come from well-drained gravelly terroir.
