We’re delighted to present the 40th vintage of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, featuring a special commemorative label on every bottle to mark this significant milestone. Over the past four decades, Cloudy Bay has become synonymous with exceptional Marlborough wines, and the 2025 vintage continues this legacy.

Marlborough's growing season began cold and unsettling, with sharp frosts affecting the flowering period. This led to a lower-than-average crop as summer arrived, and the region experienced its driest ten months on record, with drought declared in mid-March. The lack of rainfall further reduced the yield, and the warm weather prompted an early harvest. However, the vines ripened perfectly, allowing for precise picking at optimal maturity, resulting in a wine of remarkable quality and character.
