Tasting note: A warmly rounded Speyside single malt, showing rich orange marmalade, dried orchard fruits and toffee, wrapped in vanilla oak and gentle baking spice. The palate is silky with honeyed sweetness and toasted almond that builds into a long, gently spiced finish. Producer notes: Distilled at The Glenrothes and matured for 15 years under the care of Master Distiller Laura Rampling, this expression reflects the distillery’s signature focus on sherry-seasoned casks and balanced maturation. Owned by the Edrington Group, the distillery blends tradition with meticulous cask selection. Winemaking / maturation notes: Matured for 15 years in a mix of ex-sherry and seasoned oak casks that impart dried fruit, caramel and nutty layers without overpowering the spirit’s innate elegance. Non-peated, bottled at 43% ABV with a cork stopper to preserve aromatic integrity. Vineyard / origin notes: Born in the gentle Speyside valley, its character owes as much to the region’s soft water and cool climate as to careful cask stewardship — think barley harvested from nearby fields, slow distillation and patient aging that coax complex, fruit-forward aromas and a rounded mouthfeel.
