Description

Nose:

The nose reveals rather tart cereal notes, a touch of grassiness, and fermenting wine. However, there's also a fruity component that integrates the aromas well. There's also a touch of mineral dustiness.

Palate:

The alcohol is quite strong, and a splash of water isn't bad. There's a sweet base, there's grape juice—but it's still a bit lacking in balance. The whisky had more to offer on the nose, but it's basically too sweet on the palate, but the alcohol still remains a bit too prominent, and there's a lack of roundness from the wood.
